Its unique terrain was formed by the lava flow from the eruption of Mount Asama in Tenmei Year 3 (Year 1783), which cooled and solidified. The Tsumagoi Panorama Line is a recommended drive course where you can enjoy the scenery from your car window. It is one of the main village roads in Tsumagoi Village, Gunma Prefecture, with a total length of about 30 km, divided into North and South routes. Whichever route you take, you will see the vast cabbage fields, one of Gunma Prefecture’s specialties, spreading with Mt. Asama in the background.
