To Guests Accompanying Their Dogs,
Thank you very much for choosing to stay at Asama Kuzanbo. We warmly welcome all guests who wish to enjoy a resort stay with their pets. During your stay at Asama Kuzanbo, we kindly ask that guests accompanying their pets ensure they do not inconvenience other guests, as this is the responsibility of the pet owner. Please review the following important points, and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
1. Conditions for Pets Allowed to Stay
- Pets allowed to stay (limited to Dogs) must meet the following conditions:
- A maximum of three Dogs per villa is permitted.
Large dogs (20 kg or more) are only allowed in the Polaris guest room.

- Your Dog(s) must be properly trained (no biting, excessive barking, or jumping).
- Your Dog(s) must have received a rabies vaccination and a combination vaccine (or have undergone a government-approved core vaccine antibody test).
- Your Dog(s) must not be having its period.
- Your Dog(s) must not be suspected of carrying any zoonotic diseases (diseases transmissible between animals and humans).
- Your Dog(s) must not be undergoing medical treatment or in a recovery period following an illness.
- Your Dog(s) must not exhibit extreme aggression or cause fear or discomfort to other guests, such as those bred for dog fighting.
2. Rules for Pet (Dog) Use in Guest Rooms
- A separate fee of 4,000 yen (tax included) per night will be charged for each Pet (Dog).
- Please make sure to wipe your Dog's paws before entering the room. A water station for washing your Dog's paws is available near the entrance of the room.
- Dogs are not allowed in the tatami room, Western-style bedroom, loft, toilet, or bathroom.
- For Dog waste inside the guest room, please use the Pet toilet and Pet sheets provided. Please be mindful to prevent your Dogs from relieving themselves in public spaces.
- If your Dog has a marking habit or is an elderly Dog that requires diapers, please bring Pet diapers and ensure they are worn inside the guest room and public spaces.
- If you need to leave your Dogs alone in the guest room, please make sure they are kept in a cage.
- The following items are provided in rooms that allow Dogs:
- Cage (1 per room), 2 dishes (for water and food), Pet towels, Pet toilet, toilet sheets, deodorizing bags for the toilet, lint roller, deodorizing spray.
- Guests bringing pets are requested to bring the following items:
- Leash, pet food, pet diapers.
- Please note that in the event of any damage or soiling of room furnishings caused by your pet, the cost of repairs or cleaning may be charged to you.
3. Rules for Pet (Dog) Use within the Facility
- Whether Dogs are allowed in public areas outside of Guest rooms is as follows:
〈Permitted Area〉: The terrace seating at Tenku Dining.
〈Prohibited Area〉: All other areas within the facility.
- Outside the facility (e.g., parking lots, surrounding forests), you may walk your Dogs as long as they are on a leash. If your Dogs relieves themselves, please be sure to clean up after them and dispose of the waste in the designated trash bin in your room.
- Please note that our facility does not offer Dog-sitting services. All Dog care, including feeding and walking, is the responsibility of the Dog owner. If any actions are taken that violate these rules, or if other situations arise that disrupt the operation of the facility or clearly inconvenience other guests, we may refuse your stay or ask you to discontinue your stay even after check-in. Additionally, please be aware that the facility and staff cannot be held responsible for any harm or damage caused by your Dog(s) to other guests.
